I’m writing on behalf of MPG Removals. We operate a very small removals company in the Berkshire area. We now operate with a team of 7 removal operatives which has grown from 3 when we first started working with Now Storage. Our partnership with Now has led to us being able to offer our own storage solutions to our clients which has contributed greatly to our growth.

We now rent 17 units from Now Storage across 3 of their locations. We use it to store customers’ belongings between moves, which is an important part of our business and a service we need to be able offer. We also store all our consumables there. Now are very flexible and are always able to find a solution for us which, in turn, means we are able to find solutions for our clients. We visit Now storage sites most days. We also have some parking spaces for vans and staff vehicles. Both myself and my business partner have been looking for premises however we’ve been unable to find something that suites our needs. We’ve partnered with Now Storage for 8 years and intend to continue using their facilities until we are large enough to acquire our own.

Over these 8 years I personally have spent a lot of time at Now sites and a point I’ve noted is that a lot of the units are being used by small businesses to allow them to store more supplies and equipment. I see this as a great service as it is affordable and allows companies to grow without incurring the huge costs associated with leasing property.

We already have a small unit nearby in Ledbury but there just is not enough space for everything we need to run the business properly. Commercial units are very hard to find and even if you can find one you usually have to sign up for a long lease and leave money down. The storage gives us the extra room we need without all the restrictions and it makes a big difference to how we manage the day to day side of things. We also employ 2 local people. We’ve been there for 12 months and I’ve signed up for another 12.

I run a festival catering business called Mac Daddies and we sell amazing baked mac and cheese. I use now storage in Hereford for keeping all my catering equipment along with packaging and dry goods.

I am at the unit a few times a week before and after shows. I tried running everything from home and it just did not work as we outgrew the limited space we had.

Having proper storage has helped me take things to the next level and given me the space to keep everything organised and ready for events. Without it I could not operate at the level I do now.

The support that the company have given me has been great, the communication is spot on and after speaking to other storage customers I can see the need for these types of opportunities. As a business owner I couldn’t operate with out it.

I’ve been using Now storage in Ross-on-Wye for the past three years. As a gardener I need a place to keep my tools and equipment that is both secure and easy to access, which simply isn’t practical to store at home. I need different tools and equipment for different jobs. I’m at my unit on a daily basis collecting what I need.

I Know my kit is safe and secure, and they make it easy for me to work efficiently across the local area. It’s become an essential part of running my business day to day. There is quite a few other local trades who use in the same way.

Having this storage has allowed us to grow the business properly I honestly don’t know how we’d manage without it.

I sell antiques through various concessions locally and rent 3 units from Now Storage (previously had 5!)

It serves as a central store for my stock, which I’m in and out of on a regular basis. It allows me to manage my items and supply my concessions when needed. Without this facility, running my business would be far more difficult and far less efficient. I couldn’t find a commercial unit at the right price. This a much better choice for my business.
