Moving properties is like reading a journey from A to B. However sometimes we get stuck in the middle. A is finding the right house and selling your old one and B is moving in and getting settled.
However, even we have rules and there are some things you aren’t allowed to store with us – some are hopefully common sense, while others may not be so obvious…
We’re starting with the most obvious one! All items must be legitimate and safe.
While our security is state-of-the art at all of our facilities there are other, more appropriate places to secure these items. We recommend using a safe, or similar.
Plants pose the risk of attracting pests, vermin or infestations which can cause havoc. Our units are designed to keep your items in pristine condition from the moment they’re loaded into your unit to the moment they leave so we can’t allow anything that could affect the balance.
Similar to plants, we can’t accept any perishable items that could impact the cleanliness of our insulated facilities. That is, anything that needs to be kept refrigerated or frozen. This includes all liquids as there will be a drop in temperature over the winter.
That includes fish, tortoises and tarantulas – we can’t store any animals, regardless of whether they’re caged or not.
Our units are not designed for humans – you’re welcome to come and escape to your unit to unload, load and organise your items, but they don’t double up as accommodation!
